The Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government, Simon Coveney TD has made four new appointments to the Ervia Board. The new Board members are:
Tony Keohane has been nominated by the Minister as Chair Designate of the Ervia Board. As per normal practice, Mr. Keohane will appear before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government before formal appointment to the role.
Tony Keohane was Chairman of Tesco Ireland from July 2013 to July 2015 and CEO of Tesco Ireland from February 2006 to July 2013. He was appointed Chairman of Repak in November 2013 and is a Non-Executive Director of An Bord Bia.
Christopher Banks was Commercial Director at Scottish Water from 2002 to 2014.
Fred Barry was Chief Executive of the National Roads Authority (NRA) from 2005 to end 2015. He was former Group MD/MD UK & Ireland of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. from 1995 to 2005. As Chief Executive of the NRA, Mr. Barry was on the board of the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) from 2005 to 2012.
Keith Harris joined Wessex Water in 1989 and became Deputy CEO at Wessex Water in 2005. He left Wessex Water in 2010. He is currently Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of South Staffordshire Water.
